Breeding FAQ

What is breeding in Meta Fastest?

Just like in the real world, two (2) racehorses can be bred together to produce new offspring.

What is a filly, stallion, mare or colt?

A colt or stallion is a male racehorse. A filly or mare is a female racehorse. A colt or mare means that the racehorse has not yet produced offspring. Stallion or colt means that a racehorse has produced at least one offspring.

I own a female or male racehorse. Can offspring be raised after breeding?

No!! You cannot have offspring. All racehorses cannot give birth to anything other than special racehorses. You must raise a foal or stallion and nurture it as a race horse. However, the descendants of racehorses are recorded and become the ancestors of the best racehorses.

How do I set the breeding price?

Male racehorse owners can decide the price they want to charge. Meta Fastest offers the lowest breeding prices to help you set your own breeding rates. See pricing details.

Do you need gas fee to breed?

Yes, breeding creates another value. The breeding cost is determined the male racehorse's value (male racehorse's price), and if you want a faster transaction (breeding), you can breed faster if you set the price at an appropriate level.

What offspring's gender will I create?

The gender of each new born offspring is randomly generated.

Are there any benefits to owning a top-level racehorse for breeding?

Owning a top-level racehorse gives you a natural advantage over other non-top racehorses because of the fact that they are rarer. For example, breeding two top racehorses together creates a Legendary Racehorse.

I own a racehorse, but it's not the best one. If I choose to breed it, will the offspring inherit the ability to be the best performer or champion from another parent?

Yes, there is a high chance that you will identify excellent racehorses to create and breed champion racehorses.

Are there any restrictions on which family members can or cannot reproduce together?

For example, what if two racehorses that are brothers could breed together? Cannot breed with siblings, parents or grandparents.

Where can I find my racehorse's birthday information?

You can find the racehorse's birthday details in your profile, just above your wallet address in the upper right corner.

Can you race new offspring?

If there are offspring, they must be nurtured then be bred and leveled up to be eligible to participate in the game. A mare must have 5 offspring, and a male must mate about 15 times to become to alpha (god) and is entitled to race in the Arena.

Can you breed with new offspring?

Newborn racehorses cannot breed until five days after they are born.
